Ken is the Music Director at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church in Sun City West and sings professionally with The Ken and Brenda Show at Arizona Broadway Theatre, Southwest Palestrina Singers and The Royal Renaissance Singers, which he also directs. Ken is the former director of the Phoenix Children’s Chorus and an Arizona District Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Competition. In 2002, he recorded Ramirez’ Misa Criolla with Khenany and the Grammy Award Winning Phoenix Boys Choir, and in 2008, he was featured tenor in Aria ready for an OPERAtunity? with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Ken has been a frequent soloist and narrator with the Phoenix Symphony. Mr. Goodenberger is also the resident tenor of OperaTunity. He has sung over five hundred performances with this zany, irreverent opera company, helping to bring new audiences to the art form. Ken maintains a private voice studio and lives in Glendale with wife Brenda and their eight children. His goal in working with the Chorale is to continue the group’s vision, providing outstanding choral music to the West Valley and Phoenix area.
